FEATURE SUMMARY |
Data Collection & Aggregation |
TruVizion collects and aggregates both real-time and historical data from modem and CMTS equipment. Collected data can also be stored for up to one year. TruVizion includes both real-time and historical modem diagnostics information, but also aggregates information from the CMTS, making it easier for cable broadband providers to visualize network information.

Intuitive Interface |
TruVizion makes it easy to access the information you need. The interface is self-explanatory and consistent throughout the application, allowing you to quickly navigate to the customers, devices and reports you want.
TruVizion's intuitive interface also presents relevant data together in a single screen. For example, all five RF levels are presented in a single report to give users a comprehensive view of the network. Then, users can drill-in to view specific areas of the report. |
Network Diagnostics |
Use the network navigation side bar for one-click access to consolidated CMTS data. An extensive view of network health is presented on a single screen so that plant managers and engineers can quickly and easily view the highest priority issues regarding RF levels, bandwidth, SNR, packet errors and modem status. |
Modem Diagnostics |
The modem diagnostic tools in TruVizion allow technical support representatives to diagnose and resolve issues for a single customer and also refer issues that may impact multiple customers to network engineers. Data, such as RF levels and port status, is presented in real-time in a single easy-to-read screen and also includes a map of the customer's location. Drill-in to the RF level report for a specific time period, view modem logs and ping or reset the modem with a click of the mouse. |
VoIP Diagnostics* |
TruVizion empowers cable network operators to monitor the quality of their VoIP services. Users can review call history, RF levels and MOS scores. Additional VoIP tools include a display of the connected lines phone numbers for EMTA devices, as well as GR-909 loop diagnostics. |
Mapping |
Mapping tools help you visualize the network geographically. View the location of an individual customer, or drill-in to reports to view a map of many customers simultaneously. The map displays color-coded pins to represent customers and you can click the pins for summary modem data or drill-in to reach more detailed information about individual customers.
Unlike competing applications that provide too much data on a map, TruVizion allows you to quickly filter the information displayed to show only offline or out-of-spec modems, or only modems with specific RF issues. You can also view, export or print a report for the mapped modems, which can then be included in a trouble ticket or used to plan targeted truck rolls. |
Reports & Graphs |
TruVizion includes reports real-time modem statistics and you can drill in further to view interactive graphs of those statistics over the last 24 hours, or for any period in the last 24 hours. For example, an easy-to-read graph shows the RF statistics for a selected modem, and a comparison button overlays graphs from the five geographically closest modems. Or, you can choose to compare any five modems from the 25 closest to the customer selected.
The following equipment and service parameters are available in report form with sortable results, and TruVizion also allows you to view report data in a geographic map, where appropriate:
Export Data |
TruVizion allows users to export report data in Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Excel formats, a particularly useful tool for creating work orders for engineers and technicians. The Copy Screen function creates a plain-text version of the on-screen data to be pasted in the word processor of your choice. |
Monitoring & Alerting |
TruVizion includes a powerful monitoring and alerting engine that allows users to be notified as issues occur, such as a sudden drop in modems or out-of-spec RF levels. Users can customize thresholds for alerts and warnings, as well as specify the manner in which alerts are handled, giving cable providers more flexibility to discover and address network issues to improve their customers' experience with the broadband service. |
Abuse Detection |
TruVizion provides details on several types of abuse present in the network, including infected users and bandwidth abuse. |
Search |
Quick and Full Search tools are available throughout the application. Quick Search allows you to search for a customer by name, email address, phone number, or MAC address. Full Search allows users the expanded ability to search on the MAC address or IP address of any CPE device attached to the cable modem. Full Search also includes street name search to return all customers on a street to help you plan geographically-specific network maintenance. All search results can be sorted. |
* TruVizion is compatible only with Arris EMTA devices at this time. |
