Feature Summary

Organized and Intuitive Interface

TruVizion’s intuitive interface presents the relevant data your staff needs, organized in a format that is useful for multiple functions within your organization. TruVizion’s various features can be used by office staff, support technicians or engineers, and unlike other tools, you don’t have to visit multiple screens to extract data and don’t need an engineering degree to understand it.

Easy Search

TruVizion’s easy Customer Search tools remain available wherever you are in the application. Quick Search allows you to find customers by last name, email address, phone number, or MAC address of either the cable modem or any CPE device connected to the modem. Open the Full Search feature to find a customer by business name, physical address (such as street name) or the IP address of either the cable modem or any device attached to the modem.

Modem Diagnostics

The modem diagnostics in TruVizion allows technical support representatives to quickly identify and resolve a problem for a single customer, as well as detect issues that may be impacting multiple customers. Comprehensive data, such as RF levels and port status, is presented real-time on a single, easy-to-read screen that also includes a map of the customer’s location. You can easily ping the modem or attached CPE devices, view modem logs or reset the modem with a click of the mouse.

Interactive Mapping

TruVizion’s advanced, Interactive Mapping can be used to troubleshoot individual subscriber issues or more widespread problems. Maps display color-coded pins that show the modem’s status and alert level. You can click any map pin to see summary modem data or drill-in further to reach more detailed information about an individual customer. Unlike competing applications that provide too much data on a map, TruVizion allows you to quickly filter the information displayed to show only offline or out-of-spec modems, or only modems with specific RF issues. You can also map any modems that appear on a report. For example, if you are experiencing an outage in an area, you can quickly run a report on all off-line modems and then map that data with a single click to pinpoint where the issue is taking place.

RF Analysis

TruVizion offers powerful tools for more in-depth analysis of customer RF issues. In addition to real-time RF data on the Modem Diagnostics screen, you can drill in to view interactive graphs that display the RF Levels as they stream live, or choose to plot historical data over the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. With one more click you can overlay graphs from the five geographically closest modems to compare levels and look for corresponding trends. If you like, you can customize the comparison and choose any five modems from the 25 closest to the customer selected.

VoIP Diagnostics

TruVizion allows your support reps to troubleshoot common issues affecting VoIP customers. On a single screen you can view the hook status, battery state/charge and MOS scores for the last ten calls. You can also drill-in for additional RF stats on the last 10 calls, or run a Loop Diagnostics test to check the inside wiring at the premise.

Port-Level Diagnostics

A powerful diagnostic feature in TruVizion is the ability to view historical information about any upstream or downstream channel. Data such as RF levels, upstream SNR, bandwidth utilization, modem counts and codeword errors are plotted over time on user-friendly graphs, and can be viewed for the last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or 90 days. When viewing graphs in any timeframe, you can also click and drag on any graph to drill in further for a more granular look. All other graphs automatically adjust to the new timeframe for easy comparison.

CMTS Diagnostics

TruVizion’s CMTS Diagnostics screen provides an extensive view of the health of the CMTS presented on a single screen. Color-coded bars clearly identify critical areas so cable engineers can quickly and easily see the highest priority issues regarding RF levels, bandwidth utilization, SNR, modem status and codeword errors. Easily drill in to view dynamic reports on out-of-spec RF levels or off-line modems to help pinpoint trouble areas. Reports can be saved or printed, and you can even map all modems shown on a report with a single click.

Monitoring & Alerting

TruVizion can process alerts that let users know when certain issues or events occur, such as a sudden increase in off-line modems or when a threshold is exceeded for an RF level.

Provisioning

TruVizion is integrated with ZCorum’s web-based provisioning system and can provision cable modems and EMTAs in real-time.
